A range of 10 craft ciders from across the UK will be available at Yr Ieuan Ap Iago in Aberdare during
its 10-day festival.
The Wetherspoon pub in High Street will host the craft cider festival from Friday 31 July to Sunday 9
August inclusive.
The craft ciders, which will include traditional apple ciders, perries and flavoured ciders, will cost
£2.99 a pint.
They include Farmer Jims Prickly Pear, Hecks Slack-Ma-Girdle Cider, Purbeck Dandy Dab, Rich’s
Sunset Gold, Thistly Cross Jaggy Thistle, Harry’s Scrummage and Pulp Razzberry Rush.
Pub manager Charlene Grunewald said: “The festival is a great celebration of craft cider.
“It will allow us to showcase a number of craft ciders not previously available to our customers in the
pub.”
Three third-of-a-pint tasters will also be available for the price of a pint.
Tasting notes on all of the craft ciders will be available at the pub (a digital version will also be
available on the Wetherspoon app and website).
All craft ciders will be available to order at the bar or via the Wetherspoon app.
