Registrations are now open for the 2026 Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10K and 2K Run, returning on Sunday 10th May 2026 and set to build on the success of last year’s sold-out event.
After a record-breaking year in 2025, which saw every place filled for the first time in the event’s history, runners are being encouraged to sign up early to secure their spot on the start line.
The Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10K and 2K offers something for everyone, from experienced runners chasing a personal best to first-timers and families taking part in the 2K. With a buzzing race-day atmosphere and strong community support, the event has become a standout date in the South Wales running calendar.
Starting and finishing in Caerphilly town centre, runners will enjoy a memorable race experience with iconic local landmarks and enthusiastic crowds lining the route, creating an electric atmosphere from start to finish.
The continued growth of the event reflects the increasing appetite for running and community participation across the borough. Speaking ahead of the 2026 event, Cllr Chris Morgan, Cabinet Member for Leisure, said:
“The Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10K and 2K continues to go from strength to strength. Selling out in 2025 was a huge milestone and shows just how popular the event has become. We’re encouraging people to register early for 2026 to avoid disappointment and be part of what promises to be another fantastic day.”
Further details around race packs, road closures and event logistics will be shared closer to the event date. Full information and FAQs can be found on the event website.
Places are limited and demand is expected to be high following last year’s sell-out.
