Hi! I’m new to this group. I recently joined because I am disgusted at the way home-to-school transport is treating school children

Different day, but same poor kids waiting in the rain all ready to spend the day in soaking wet clothes

So so wrong that these children have to go through this.

Bring the school buses back for goodness sake before some child gets killed or very badly injured/ hurt.

What also doesn’t help is cars parking on the yellow lines in the entrance. I’ve already raised this with the school/councillors/RCTCBC/police, and no one will do anything about it. It’s dangerous (kids crossing), and it slows the traffic down massively to 1 in, 1 out of the entrance. Pain!!

If they had traffic wardens at schools all the time people would moan but its what is needed as some people have no thought when it comes to parking. I had to squeeze between 2 cars this morning outside a primary school as a car was parked on the zig zags and another car opposite making it very difficult to pass. An ambulance wouldn’t have fit through! I get more people are driving kids to school but its like everyone has to get as close as possible which then puts kids at risk

LABOUR COUNCILLORS IGNORE CHILDREN’S SAFETY.

Rhondda Cynon Taff Labour Councillors voted to cut school transport putting the safety of all children at risk, leaving them to walk and cross dangerous roads, some for miles, in all kinds of weather.
