Overnight Road Closures are needed to allow for final road surfacing works at Rhigos junction

A465 Traffic Management Alert 

As part of the ongoing construction works the following overnight closures are needed to allow for final road surfacing works at Rhigos junction.

Overnight on the 15 and 16 July westbound on-slip closure at Rhigos junction from 20:00hrs each evening until 06:00hrs the following morning.
The following diversion will be in place: www.a465.org/RhigosDiversionWB

Overnight on the 17, 18 and 19 July eastbound A465 between Glynneath and Rhigos, from 20:00hrs each evening until 06:00hrs the following morning.
The following diversion will be in place:  www.a465.org/RhigosDiversionEB

There are also overnight closures of Penderyn Road on 17 and 18 July from 20:00hrs until 06:00hrs the following morning. For Penderyn Road the diversion will be signposted through Hirwaun.

Please note temporary traffic lights will also be in operation at the junction on these evenings to allow for the resurfacing work to be undertaken.
