Commenting on the Channel 4 Dispatches programme’s revelations regarding a company owned by David Neal, the owner of another company that donated £200,000 to Labour’s Vaughan Gething for his leadership campaign, Andrew RT Davies MS, the Leader of the Welsh Conservatives said:
“The evidence and allegations put forward last night in the Channel 4 programme regarding the First Minister’s donor’s company cannot be ignored and urgent action must finally be taken.
“We know that the owner of the company that has been creating an unearthly stink at Withyhedge in Pembrokeshire is alleged to be avoiding tax by mischaracterising waste and donated to Vaughan Gething’s leadership campaign to the tune of the largest sum in devolution history.
“The Labour Welsh Government and National Resources Wales have failed to take any urgent action so far, it is high time that they rectify this situation which has gone on far too long to the detriment of local people and fully investigate any wrongdoing by Neal’s company.”
