Labour’s childcare cuts will impact the most vulnerable
Responding to the news that vulnerable people could be worst hit by planned cuts to the Welsh Government budget, Gareth Davies MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Social Care Minister said:
“The Labour Government’s cuts to childcare in Wales will have a massive impact on parents hoping to return to full time work.
“By cutting the budget in favour of creating more politicians, parents in Labour-run Wales are having their progression within their workplace stifled.
“The Labour Government must replicate the UK Conservative Government’s more generous childcare offer, which would enable parents to return to work sooner.”
