Overnight Road Closures Cefn Coed to Dowlais
As part of our work to upgrade the A465 to a full dual carriageway, overnight closures of the A465 between Cefn Coed and Dowlais are required on each of these dates.
The the road will close at 20:00hrs and re-open at 06:00hrs the following morning:
Wednesday 12 April 2023.
Saturday 15 April 2023.
The closures are required to undertake work that cannot be safely completed whilst the road is open or under traffic management, which includes concrete infill work to Taf Fechan viaduct.
This is an essential part of the work being undertaken to strengthen and widen the bridge at this location.
Other work will also take place throughout the area to maximise the use of the closure time.
