At the last pack meeting on Thursday, 24 August at Cwmaman Top Club no Police or Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) turned up this is not unusual it happened before looking on social media it appears no one has publicized this meeting tomorrow, this gives the impression no one is interested. Calling a meeting with no publicity and short notice do the council and police want residents to attend?
The persistent issue of off-road motorbikes or scramblers on our public roads has been a long-standing problem in our community. This issue has persisted for years and has proven difficult to address under normal circumstances. However, during the meeting on 24 August, it was brought to residents’ attention that the police had received a directive from the Chief Constable prohibiting the pursuit of these vehicles due to the recent Ely riots.
