Welsh cancer waiting times worsen again

Cancer waiting times in Wales got worse in September 2014, for the second month in a row, according to figures published today.

85.1% of patients with urgent suspected cancer began treatment within two months. Labour’s target of 95% has not been met since 2008.

Officers appeal for van vigilance following thefts: Aberdare

Police in Aberdare are calling for vigilance following a number of vehicle break-ins in Aberdare and surrounding areas.
Four vans were targeted some time overnight between 16 and 17 November.
Windows have been smashed and locks have been breached to gain entry.

Police appeal following armed robbery in Aberdare

At just before 4pm on Friday, 7 November, two men armed with knives went into the store on Langorse Road demanding the shopkeeper opens the till.
