ZOE from Penrhiwceiber promoted to Operations Executive

ZOE PAINE from Penrhiwceiber has recently (September, 2017) been promoted to Operations Executive at an award-winning care company in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT).

The 23-year-old previously worked as a Regional Manager but will now go on to be responsible for managing a team of carers in the lower Cynon and Pontypridd areas. She will also ensure Abacare continues to deliver the highest quality of care to its service users to maintain its reputation.

Zoe said: “I am really pleased to now be an Operations Executive for Abacare and am looking forward to the challenges my new role will bring.

“As I have moved up within my role at the company I am not a new, unknown face for the carers I will be managing. I think this will be extremely beneficial as we will already know each other and I have a real understanding of them and all the hard work they put in so will be able to manage them with this in mind.

“I feel I have really started to carve a career out for myself within the care industry and am looking forward to what the future holds for me. It is fantastic that a business such as Abacare is committed to promoting from within and providing its staff, who show outstanding contribution to their role, with career progression. I would really recommend the care industry to anyone else looking for a vocation in life.”

Abacare operates a professional Care Management Team that is committed to providing high quality care to individuals in their own homes.

The large team of trained, specialist, care workers provide positive based outcomes and person centred care to people throughout Wales.

Sarah Williams, Registered Manager at Abacare, said: “We’d like to say a huge ‘congratulations’ to Zoe on her promotion. She is a much valued member of the team and it is great to see staff blossom in their jobs and move onwards and upwards.”

Abacare’s core values, instilled into every staff member, include ‘make us proud’, ‘focus on our service users’ wellbeing’, ‘communicate, listen well and speak with respect’, ‘be passionate, honest, caring and considerate’, ‘recruit and develop the very best’ and ‘lead by example’.
