Woman had her bag snatched in Rhydefelin yesterday.
South Wales Police are appealing for information after a woman had her bag snatched in Rhydefelin yesterday.
The incident happened at about 2.45pm in Cardiff Road.
She was approached from behind by a man who snatched her bag from her shoulder and made off in the direction of the new housing estate in Rhydefelin.
The suspect is described as aged 17-18 years, about 5ft 5ins tall, with a very pale complexion and wearing a black hooded jacket, black trousers and trainers.
Her bag and purse have since been recovered, the bag being nearby and the purse in the Treforrest area.
