Volunteering opportunity : visiting SWP custody suites

Are you interested in volunteering with us?

If so, you may be interested in a number of positions currently available within our independent custody visiting scheme as a Custody visitor.

As a custody visitor you would join other members of our community and attend our custody suites unannounced on a monthly basis – to check on the welfare of people in our custody and the conditions under which detainees are held.

As black and minority ethnic (BME) candidates are currently under-represented within the Force, we would particularly welcome applications from BME applicants.
