Treorchy RTC Update: Elderly woman has died in hospital
South Wales Police can confirm the death of the 81 year-old woman who was involved in a road traffic collision in Treorchy on Monday, 12 November, 2018.
Muriel Kinsey, from Pentre, was in a critical condition at the University Hospital of Wales where she was admitted following the collision.
She sadly passed away on Wednesday night – her next of kin has been informed and her family is being supported by a specially trained officers.
Roads policing officers are investigating the collision and are continuing their appeal for information – they want to speak to anybody who saw the collision who has not yet spoken to them.
The collision, which involved a red Ford Ecosport, occurred at approximately 2.15pm at the junction of High Street and the A4061 known locally as Stag Square.
