(FOOTBRIDGE FROM NANTYGWYDDON ROAD TO GELLIGALED PARK, LLWYNYPIA)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit any person to proceed along the footbridge from Nantygwyddon Road to Gelligaled Park, Llwynypia
It is expected to be operative from 28th November 2017 for a period of 18 months
The restriction is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the footbridge
The alternative route for pedestrians is as follows:
From the eastern side of the closure, proceed via Pontrhondda Avenue, Pontrhondda Road, Sherwood Street, Oakfield Terrace, Salem Terrace and Nantygwyddon Road to the western side of the closure.
From the western side of the closure, reverse the directions given above.
