St John Girls South Wales Regional Cross Country Championships
The U13 cross country team and the U15 teams ventured to Newbridge fields in Bridgend on Wednesday to compete in the South Wales Regional Cross Country Championships.
Many of our competitors were competing in an age group that above of their own so all did really well to place relatively high up in the rankings.
Particular congratulations to Freya Hughes-Rolls in year 7 competing against her year 7 peers and also year 8’s, did exceptionally well, placing 31st out of over 200 other competitors from schools all across the region.
In the U15 competition, Ella Morgan once again impressed us and did us proud, coming 5th out of around 200 competitors! Ella received another medal, adding to her already growing collection!
St. John’s are really proud of the team and wish them all the best in future cross country events, one of which is coming up in the next few weeks for Freya Hughes-Rolls, Ella Morgan, Cerys Evans and Evan Rickards.
