Royal Glamorgan Hospital protest: Andrew RT Davies adds his voice to oppose downgrading of A & E services

The South Wales Central Member, Andrew RT Davies, spoke to a large, cross-party crowd outside the Senedd today (February 12) of people protesting against plans to downgrade A & E services at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

He said:

“Today at the Senedd, we have an important Welsh Conservative debate on not downgrading accident and emergency services at Llantrisant Hospital.

“Many hundreds of people have turned up here to vent their anger at the Welsh Labour Government decision, but they need to get on now and instruct the heath board to protect A & E services at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital and listen to what the people are saying.

“It would be dangerous to do such a downgrade, and we need the Conservative motion to go through today.”
