RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(VARIOUS STREETS, MAERDY TO PORTH)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 1, 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The effect of the Order will be to:-
1. Temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along the lengths of roads specified in the table below: –

2 – REAR OF NO. 1 TO SIDE OF NO. 35 FFALDAU TERRACE, FERNDALE – 09/01/2018 – 27/02/2018
3 – NO. 1 – 37 HILLSIDE TERRACE AND LANE TO REAR, WATTSTOWN – 16/02/2018 – 17/04/2018
4 – LAKE STREET, FERNDALE – 15/03/2018 – 11/05/2018
5 – UNION STREET, FERNDALE – 14/05/2018 – 29/05/2018
6 – 1 – 5 IRFON STREET, FERNDALE – 29/05/2018 – 31/05/2018
7 – BRYNHYFRYD TERRACE, FERNDALE – 01/06/2018 – 09/07/2018
8 – KING STREET, FERNDALE – 01/06/2018 – 09/07/2018
9 – CORONATION TERRACE, PORTH – 20/06/2018 – 12/07/2018
The works are expected to be operative on the dates specified for each closure within the table. The start / end dates are approximate, depending on the progress of the works on site.
However, signing will be placed on site 7 days prior to the commencement of the closures to inform the public which sections of road will be affected and when the closure will be in operation.
The restriction is necessary to enable works to be carried out on or near the road Access will NOT be maintained for emergency service vehicles Access will be maintained for pedestrians
