NEW PEDESTRIAN CROSSING A4059 MOUNTAIN ASH

(NEW ROAD A4059 JUNCTION WITH SOUTHERN CROSS VALLEY LINK ROAD, MOUNTAIN ASH)
(PEDESTRIAN CROSSING) NOTICE 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council in exercise of their powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Section 23(2)(a) of the said Act and having notified the Welsh Government in writing, proposes the following: –
1. Introduce Puffin Pedestrian Crossings at the following locations:
i. East bound carriageway of New Road A4059 at a point opposite the south bound carriageway of Southern Cross Valley Link Road
ii. West bound carriageway of New Road A4059 at a point opposite the south bound carriageway of Southern Cross Valley Link Road
iii. West bound carriageway of New Road A4059 within the dedicated left turn lane into the Southern Cross Valley Link Road
iv. South bound carriageway of Southern Cross Valley Link Road at its northern junction with New Road A4059
v. North bound carriageway of Southern Cross Valley Link Road at its northern junction with New Road A4059
A copy of the relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the Principal Offices of the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, The Pavilions, Cambrian Park, Clydach Vale, Tonypandy, CF40 2XX and Mountain Ash Library, Knight Street, Mountain Ash, CF4 3EY until 15th March 2018
Objections to the proposal together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to the Traffic Manager, Sardis House, Sardis Road, Pontypridd, CF37 1DU by 15th March 2018
