In partnership with Natural Resources Wales, the Council will begin significant work to install a new culvert inlet and reduce the risk of flooding in Pentre – as part of a wider comprehensive response following this year’s flood events.
Welsh Government has announced that residents MUST wear a face covering in shops and indoor public areas from Monday – but the Council continues to ask residents to volunteer to wear them with immediate effect due to the local circumstances in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
The purpose of the Abercwmboi Photo Archive Project is to tell the story of Cap Coch and Abercwmboi through photographs of the people and places that have made this village.
A local history group has been formed and through them a collection of images and photographs are being built. Abercwmboi has a strong industrial history but it also has a rich cultural, commercial and rural heritage.
