lucy and rhodri’s christmas visit to tŷ hafan
Lucy and Rhodri Owen brought their own Christmas sparkle to Tŷ Hafan when they visited the hospice
The couple, who are Tŷ Hafan Ambassadors, have been avid supporters of the charity for many years and were both excited to have been asked to take part in the charity’s Frozen-themed pantomime.
After handing out presents to children and chatting to families, BBC Wales newsreader, Lucy, tweeted a photo, and said: “Santa and his little helper had a wonderful morning with the children – great panto!”
Ruth Kearney, Media and Communications Manager at Tŷ Hafan, said: “Rhodri is such a pro at playing Santa and Lucy was an amazing elf! They are such great sports and are fantastic Ambassadors for Tŷ Hafan.”
Tŷ Hafan organises a pantomime in the lounge of the hospice every Monday and Friday in December. Staff, corporate supporters and families take part in the panto which is just one of the ways Tŷ Hafan makes Christmas extra special for life-limited children and their families.
