Further delay in opening the new Maendy Surgery within Cynon Linc
Received today 8 August from Cwm Taf Morgannwg Cwm Taf Morgannwg CHC this is something that should have been sorted out on day one from the time whoever decided to place Maendy Place Surgery in the new building.
Little wonder you cannot get appointments with GPs because the right-hand does not know what the left is doing, no wonder the Welsh health service is in decline. Welsh Labour running it into the ground.

Following previous correspondence regarding Maendy Place Surgery please see the details below for your information. The CHC has been advised of further delays with the relocation into Cynon Linc Community Hub. The UHB has advised as follows:-
"Apologies for the very late notice but I was informed yesterday evening that there is a legal matter outstanding on the lease for Maendy Surgery/Cynon Linc and as a result, the practice will not be opening its doors on Monday 8th August.
This is particularly frustrating since the practice had full clinics booked on Monday, in Cynon Linc, and has been contacting patients to redirect them to Abercwmboi, or a suitable alternative appointment.
I have been advised the issue will be resolved late next week (unlikely before Wednesday c.o.p) therefore we have agreed to postpone the opening to 15th August."
