Fatal road traffic collision: Victim named and family tribute
The victim of the fatal road traffic collision which happened at around 10.20pm on Monday 6th August has been named as Gavin Edmunds, 27, from Trealaw, Tonypandy.
Paying tribute to Gavin, his family has said: “Gavin was a much loved Son, Grandson, Brother and Uncle who loved life and was always the soul of the party and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.”
South Wales Police is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on Margaret Street, Hopkinstown, Pontypridd when a blue Renault Megane collided with a parked and unattended blue Vauxhall Corsa.
Investigating officers want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision and who have not yet spoken to them, or anyone who may have any information about the journey taken by the Renault Megane immediately prior to the collision.
