Family Fun at the Coliseum Aberdare
Keep your little ones entertained with a brand new jam-packed season of shows at The Coliseum Aberdare and The Park & Dare Treorchy.
Channel 5 brings a superb live version of its successful children’s show Milkshake! to the Coliseum Theatre on Saturday 30 September at 12.30pm & 4.00pm. Firm favourites such as Bob the Builder, Little Princess, Noddy, Fireman Sam, Shimmer & Shine, Pip from Pip Ahoy!, Winnie and Wilbur, Wissper, Milkshake’s very own Milkshake! Monkey – along with two Milkshake! presenters, will take children on a magical journey through their favourite fairytales in The Magic Storybook.
Milkshake presenter and show director Derek Moran said: “We cannot wait to be back touring the country with our brand new show. It’s a magical show full of audience participation.”
Head of children’s Channel 5 Sarah Muller added: “Through our live tours, we can give families a Milkshake event they won’t find anywhere else, one where they can meet their favourite characters and presenters while enjoying a brilliant family day out.”
Also coming up at the Coliseum on Friday 3 November at 2.00pm is the perfect Halloween treat! Crafty’s Creepy Castle is a brilliant family show and the spookiest Trick or Treat experience. Why has Crafty the Crow gone to live in a haunted castle? Can Sally the Scarecrow help with its ghostly goings-on? And what haunted happenings are making things go bump in the night? Go in your scariest Hallowe’en costume and join the adventure to find the hidden treasure, then meet Crafty afterwards and receive a special Trick or Treat present! Filled with sing-along songs this colourful show is ideal for ages 2 – 7.
Or you could enter Flossy and Boo’s gloriously mind-boggling world at the Park & Dare on Friday 3 November at 2.00pm. Flossy and Boo have run away from the circus and set up their own travelling curiosity shop, collecting songs, trinkets and incredible stories along the way. Jam packed with sing-along songs, incredible stories and larger than life characters, Flossy and Boo’s Curiosity Shop is a funny interactive production – ideal for ages for ages 2 and over.
