Distraction burglars Taffs Well Area
South Wales Police are appealing for information after distraction burglars targeted an elderly lady in Taffs Well.
The incident happened at about 4.30pm on December 2 in Cardiff Road.
A man knocked on the victim’s door stating he was there to check the water pressure.
The man entered her home and while looking under the sink asked her to run the bathroom tap.
While she went to do so a second man appeared.
The victim become suspicious and the men made off empty handed.
The suspects are both white men wearing hi-visibility tops with writing on the front.
The first was aged around 50, about 5ft 9ins tall, of chubby build with roundish face, with a local accent. He was wearing a yellow and black hi-visibility top with writing on the front.
The second man was of skinny build, around 20 years old, approx. 5ft 8ins tall with dark straight hair.
