Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Big Welsh Bite takes place at Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, Pontypridd, on August 6-7, from 11am until 5pm.

There will be many attractions at Big Welsh Bite 2016, including a fine array of food and craft stalls and a packed itinerary of arena shows and side attractions.

All produce available at Big Welsh Bite will be grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholders themselves, resulting in a scrumptious range of local produce.

Cllr Maureen Webber, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Council Business, said: “I am delighted that Big Welsh Bite is back this summer. The two-day event attracts thousands of visitors from all over and is a celebration of Welsh cuisine.

“Now into its 13th year, the Welsh Food Festival not only promotes all we have to offer in our County Borough, but it is also an event that all the family can enjoy.

“Ynysangharad War Memorial Park is also the home of Lido Ponty, the National Lido of Wales. We will most certainly be flying the flag for Wales this summer.”
