A4059 Aberdare ROAD CLOSURE

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close the A4059, Aberdare (northbound lane only) for a distance of approximately 320 metres, between Tinney’s roundabout and the Michael Sobell Sports Centre roundabout
The restriction is necessary to enable works to be executed on or near the road
The closure is expected to be in force between 7:00am – 12 midday on 7th July 2019 or until such times as the works have been completed
Alternative Route – from the southern side of said closure, proceed via Cardiff Street (B4275), Victoria Square, High Street (A4233) and the A4059
Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency service vehicles
