Young performers wanted to appear in panto!

You could join the cast of fun-packed panto Peter Pan!

Would you like to see your little darlings on stage? Following last year’s record-breaking panto Aladdin, Rhondda Cynon Taf Cultural Services is thrilled to announce this year's brand-new production, the magical tale of Peter Pan, the boy who never grew up.

The team producing this fabulous traditional family panto is looking for youngsters to audition for a chance to join the fantastic panto cast, in the roles of John and Michael Darling.

They are looking for three teams of local young male actors to audition to play Michael Darling and John Darling, between the ages of eight and 12 with unbroken voices.

The role of John is sensible but brave and the character is aged 10 to 11. There is a height restriction for this role of under five feet. The ability to act with an English accent and to sing is essential.

The role of Michael Darling is a character of great fun and braveness. Michael is aged eight and this role also has a height restriction of under five feet, and the ability to act with an English accent and to sing is essential. Both characters will be flying to Neverland during the performances - via wires!

Auditions will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, September 2. 3 and 4 at The Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd at 5.30pm until 7.30pm. All children auditioning will be expected to sing as well as show their acting skills.
