Hello cocoman123, do you know if the plans are available anywhere on the council's website? The reason I ask is I have been looking for them and have not found them. I would be interested to see them as I was given to understand a new sports centre was being built as part of the plans, which would be used by the school as well. I may be totally mistaken about this, but in the absense of easily available documentation, I am just going on what I have heard. If you know of any documentation online, can you point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I have heard they are moving the "sport center" down toward the bottom end of the rugby pitch. The plans as shown are not quite as the finished project will be but then again when are plan spot on from start to finish?

They over run building mountain ash hospital so you can guess a project the size of three schools merging will take 5-7 years to complete. The welsh assembly cocked up llwynypia hospital so guarantee a big school project will have some slight delays.6-12 months so all the kiddywinks will have to wait till sept 2017 for the new school to be completed

NOt sure about the schools all coming together on one site but i guess its easier to manage etc

As for a new sports centre its long over due as the Sobel centre is so out of date and needs so much modernising it must make sense to start a fresh after 40 years or so use
