It's nice to see the site back on line again. Finding the new layout strange though and need to get used to it.

Thanks agedlady and dmj.

I’m sorry if I’m late answering, I haven’t quite got the knack of posting yet.
I hope all old, and new posters, will make the new site a success.
Congratulations D, and Gwyneth, Ann and I wish you and the family a Nappy New Year, lol.
At the moment I’m busy playing with my Xmas present, that my son bought me.
I’m recording all the old records, 78s 45s and LPs on to CDs.
It’s great to hear all the old records again.

D going through the old records I found one Massed Welsh Male Voice Choirs recorded at the Royal Albert Hall, on the 29th Oct 1969, and the Cwbach choir were among the ones that sang there on that date.

oh Non Rev as a child I can

oh Non Rev as a child I can remember going to the youth club in the old Cwmbach school right at the top of Cwmbach and instead of going in to the youth club I would sit on the steps outside listening to the Cwmbach Choir practicing this has stayed with me all of my life how bueatiful those voices sound and even today the South Wales choirs make the hair stand up on the back of my neck. (please excuse any spelling mistakes, they are my own lol fingers not working so well tonight.)

nonrev iwasin cwmbach choir

nonrev iwasin cwmbach choir in that concert. If you listen carefully I'm the one that's singing out of tune!LOL!!

Nonrev I am still in touch

Nonrev I am still in touch with my relatives in Aberaman and it is all down to you, now in touch with Russels sister as well as Aunty Dora, Sylvie and Iori, though did not manage my Aunty Doras Hundred Birthday last March, grand age and still look as good as she does and have such an alert mind she looks wonderful, but had a shock how much Sylvie looks like her mother \on about (RussellHarris) lol forgot changed my screen name he he trying to confuse every one.

I’m , sorry about the

I’m , sorry about the delay, agedlady, and dmj. There is more to changing to broad band than I thought.
I’ll try to catch up with the posts.
Anyway I thought it was you out of tune D on that recording. I thought it was the converter at first, lol, icanmakeu a copy if you wish, the only thing is, it is very quite on a CD player, but if you play the disk on a DVD player connected 2thetelly it’s ok, still learning the ins and out.
How is the new arrival D, you can get some pram time in now, and no nipping into the Blaen lol.
Agedlady now I know, I’m still waiting for that film to be released, I think it must be out of date by now. I think they have Gone out, not Coming Out.
It must be 2 years since they started filming. (So cannot comment yet)
I watched the other one, Very Annie Mary, this week, while waiting to get connected, (brilliant).
I hope you are keeping ok, you must have heard dmj out of tune if you listened carefully lol, all jokes aside I was friends with a few of choristers, I remember one that sold me a cassette of Cwmbach choir (Which I still have). When a few of them sang in the Blaengwawr pub quite a few years ago, dmj would know him, as a matter of fact it was the person who was mistaken for Iorrie that time, instead Harris it was Davis.
Dora is certainly a remarkable lady 101 in march and still goes to bingo.

Aunty Dora is really

Aunty Dora is really remarkable for her age, her mother was 103 when she sadly passed away, and thanks to you I am in touch with nearly all of them now and it is so nice, I have even found family in Glyncoch lol. Thank you for your help. Who knows I am hoping to be down south same time as Cymro we might all meet up that would be great.
