Wales added to the Union Flag?

Would you like to see Wales represented on the Union Flag?
Please could I ask everyone who agrees that Wales should be represented on the Union Flag to sign the below petition to see if together we can make a change? I hope this idea won't go
I hope this idea won't go ahead as Wales has it's own flag which is very recognisable throughout the world with it being such a distinctive emblem.
They haven't seen fit to having us represented on the Union flag up to now so why the change at this late stage? Is it because they can see the break up of the U k with Scotland voting shortly to go it alone.?
I say NO NO NO Keep Y Ddraig Goch I'm very proud of it and all of Wales should be too.
The Union Jack is not a respected flag throughout the world believe me as it has had too much blood spilt on it.

This site hasn't been exactly on fire of late but this petition for representation on the union flag I would have thought brought a spate of furious debate on here.
I am very surprised at the lack of comment on this subject, I hope it doesn't mean a lackadaisical attitude to the proposal from the Welsh people.
We have a lot to be proud of in Wales, more in fact than we have been allowed to advertise so come on give your support for the retention of our recognised Welsh flag before it is lost to the nation as so much Welsh history and achievements have. It's not been accidental that so much of our culture has been hidden and our language has been discouraged over the years. Don't let them strip us of everything Welsh, they have taken enough from us already and what have they put back that we can call our own ? Look around you.
