The musical repertoire of the choir is wide and varied, It includes music for all tastes ranging from operatic choruses, spirituals, hymns, folk music and popular ballads.

Aberdare Carnival and Show Co Ltd, was formed in March 2007 to ensure the survival of Aberdare Carnival on behalf of Cancer Research UK, Cynon Valley Committee. Our aim is to carry out fundraising to cover all expenses of the Aberdare Show which for over 40 years has been carried out by The Cynon Valley Committee, any residue from our efforts will be passed on to Cynon Valley Committee as a donation to Cancer Research UK.
