Aberdare Carnival and Show Co Ltd, was formed in March 2007 to ensure the survival of Aberdare Carnival on behalf of Cancer Research UK, Cynon Valley Committee. Our aim is to carry out fundraising to cover all expenses of the Aberdare Show which for over 40 years has been carried out by The Cynon Valley Committee, any residue from our efforts will be passed on to Cynon Valley Committee as a donation to Cancer Research UK.

Our school is situated on a hillside on the northern side of the village of Cwmbach within an established private housing estate. The village of Cwmbach lies approximately 2 miles south of the busy town of Aberdare, known locally as: 'The Queen of the Valleys'/ 'Brenhines y Cymoedd'. Cwmbach is in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taff.
