Our school is situated on a hillside on the northern side of the village of Cwmbach within an established private housing estate. The village of Cwmbach lies approximately 2 miles south of the busy town of Aberdare, known locally as: 'The Queen of the Valleys'/ 'Brenhines y Cymoedd'. Cwmbach is in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Andrew Davies was elected as a Welsh Conservative Assembly Member for South Wales Central in May 2007.
