Although my great-uncle, a resident of Pontypridd, died in Flanders in the Great War, his name has been omitted from the recently created roll of honour .... and so far I have met brick walls in trying to get this rectified.
The museum looked into the issue but then passed the buck to a Mr Jones who has so far failed to even acknowledge, let alone answer, my emails requesting help and information?
If everyone is so keen to ensure this memorial is an accurate record of those who gave their lives, why is it so hard to get this oversight corrected - or at least explained.
Edwin Berry lived, worked, married and fathered two sons in Pontypridd before being killed on Flanders Fields in 1917.
Disgusting the way people

This was in the newspaper and on their website for weeks and weeks asking people to send in and confirm details - in fact I saw something where there was a further last minute appeal for info from the British Legion wasn't it. Cant blame them if one person has been missed off - I would suggest that you write to the Council Leader with the information and evidence you have - as the email you sent may not be getting through?
