I was told that a guy fell into the "fishermans" yesterday afternoon while trying to rescue one of his dogs. A member of the public pulled him out and probably saved his life. I gather the dog died. The nearest ambulance was in Pontadowe??? so a helicopter air ambulance was despatched from Swansea. 6 mins or so to arrive. Three fire engines turned up and also the police. The man was probably very shocked traumatised and very cold.

Anyone out there know who the rescuer was?
