University of Glamorgan, Trefforest, Pontypridd
(Oriel y Bont Gallery, Tŷ Crawshay)

Art lovers in south-east Wales have the last chance to see the major exhibition by the Conwy-based Royal Cambrian Academy. The 2d and 3d works are on show at the University of Glamorgan in Pontypridd until Monday 09 August, and include a selection of 19 of the RCA’s current artist members, some of whom will be familiar to a south Wales public and others who will not be. It was selected and organised by the University of Glamorgan’s curator Dr Ceri Thomas, assisted by the Royal Cambrian Academy’s Gill Bird, Tim Pugh and Jeremy Yates. Exhibitors include Maurice Cockrill RA, Glenys Cour, Karel Lek MBE, Wendy Mayer, Harry Robertson, Alan Salisbury, John Selway and Kevin Sinnott.
