Is it time to dump the traffic lights in Penywaun and Llwydcoed?

Fed up of stopping by traffic lights when there is no traffic coming from other junctions?

The new roundabout sited on the B4275 next to Home bargains works well with little or no traffic tailback, with all the major construction developments going on in Llwydcoed it is only a matter of time before the traffic is backing up past the speed camera and back to the A4059 in the other direction.
There is ample room for a roundabout to be constructed at both Penywaun and Llwydcoed, you have to ask the question why the local authority didn’t construct roundabouts in the first instance and they cost less to run.

I see the people of Penderyn are asking Rhondda Cynon Taf council for a 20 MPH speed limit outside the school that not a lot to ask for so why are the council being awkward after all it seems like every other school in Cynon Valley has a 20 MPH limit outside.
