When are the planners and those responsible going to take stock of all the new development that has been allowed to continue throughout the Cynon Valley. Buildings erected Smack in the middle of land once dedicated "flood plain"...Every day we are reminded of Global warming, it's affects on our environment and the worsening change in weather conditions with daily report's telling us it's going to get worse, yet despite such warnings development continues. Do these people really understand the physics? If you continue to place objects in the bowl the water table rises! result: when the weather worsens the water's reach greater heights and that is when the heartache and misery steps in.....Yes, when it's too late. For those of us old enough to remember just take a look at the buildings that now stand on what was once open fields and green belt areas.. I'd say enough is enough stop building on the flood plain.
