It is obvious you have not been on these estates lately. Until recently I had a laborer working for me from a housing estate, I used to pick him up in the mornings just outside the post office. He was always late, and in the end I had to "let him go" He could not keep his hands off other peoples belongings.
I could see the state on the place myself. Gardens overgrown and wild, big stones and all sorts of rubbish in the road. The stench of urine coming out of the bus shelters was overpowering, I saw used condoms and jam rags left to rot in the street, a dog was running around with one in his mouth, I could see the dried clots of blood hanging under his jaw, that morning I was almost sick. I saw used syringes, dog and human excrement in and around the bus shelters topped off with vomit and empty lager cans. Graffiti not only on the bus shelters, but all over the houses and shops, even the police station was covered in it. I saw thousands of empty brown Department of Work and Pensions envelopes blowing around, that once contained Giros. I have employed many men from these estates over the years, and they tell me they are better off on benefits. Has that answered your questions?
