A DEATH trap road in Merthyr Tydfil looks set to remain just that for the foreseeable future.

The
devastating blow was dealt by Ieuan Wyn Jones, the Deputy First
Minister and Minister for Economy and Transport, when he announced
conditions that could see the dangerous stretch of road from Dowlais to
Hirwaun may never be worked on.
