Just another so-called cock up at Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council accounts department blamed on a computer error.

The woman, who didn’t want to be named, said some parents have been stunned to receive bills totalling over £100.
She said: “I’ve been sent a bill for over £100 and my child doesn’t even have school meals.

A spokesman said “I can see no evidence that fraud has taken place at the school – there is no question of it within the school and to my knowledge there’s no question of it with the accounts department at RCT.”
