Ann Clwyd MP for Cynon Valley

What has Ann Clwyd achieved for the people of Cynon Valley?

lol, talk about a can of

lol, talk about a can of worms.

Ummmmmm in short NOTHING. I'm sure she's a nice woman personally but let's be honest on a professional level....

No retail park, no enterprise, unpopular land "development" decisions the list goes on and on.

Also, and majorly, she backed up Tony Bliar in the WMD scam that caused an illegal war for Israel/Neocon American interests.

filled her boots with free

filled her boots with free TV's and furnished her flat and house, snout in trough or what

Ann Who ???????

Ann Who ???????

Anne Clunge MP for the iraqi

Anne Clunge MP for the iraqi peoples front

What do you expect from a 74

What do you expect from a 74 year old woman? Time for someone with ambition and energy....hopefully representing UKIP.

Do you mean the right

Do you mean the right honourable member for Vietnam or is it Iraq. She's achieved sod all for the people of the valley. But whose's fault is that? Simple. The people of the Cynon Valley.

Agreed. I've worked on the

Agreed. I've worked on the counts on election day and let me tell you, it's pointless other parties standing an MP here.

Also fool on the hill, she has been MP for over 25 years, so the age excuse, as invalid as it was anyway, still doesn't wash.

She's done sweet fa to encourage investment, jobs, enviromental or infrastructure for aberdare.

Only one investment going on

Only one investment going on here, the anne clwyd retirement fund KERCHING

She's never happier than

She's never happier than when she's covered in camel shit and flying on a Tuareg carpet. we'll never get her attention unless we rename the town Abudare and where we live as Aburaman!

Don't knock her; the people

Don't knock her; the people of Cynon Valley are quite happy with the lack of concern, and even contempt that she shows for them. They are more than willing to tolerate her absence, her lack of commitment by refusing to live here as her permanent residence, her greater concern for Baghdad than Aberaman, her fleeing from too many awkward questions at election time, and the backing she receives from her Labour associates, who are themselves riding the gravy train, generously provided for them by the same gullible voters of course.

All in all, it's what Cynon Valley voters want and have come to expect from a Labour Party that hangs like a millstone around their necks. Until eyes are opened and the truth revealed, Cynon Valley will continue to be milked dry by Labour councillors and a Labour MP out for their own ends, and feathering their own nests at our expense.

It's a situation that has gone on for as long as I can remember. Democracy is a myth in Britain anyway; nowhere is that more apparent than right here on our own doorstep, where what the people actually want for their communities is always ignored in favour of what the Labour Party and its corporate pals want. Your opinions count for nothing. Attend any planning committee to see the proof of that.

In the meantime, Anne Clwyd and her fellow travellers will continue to rule the roost here and likewise to ignore their duties to the people they should represent.

What people who don't vote

What people who don't vote should understand is that by abstention they get the government that somebody else vote in . Apathy is rampant in Cwm Cynon ,and we've got the government we deserve a bunch of bloody spivs wearing big kipper ties, and their cohorts,. the pariah's of politics, prostitutes who will get into bed, legs akimbo, with anybody.the glib dems.
There's no bloody hope left,I wonder if there's a camel sevice to Arabia,y'know something like Cwm Camels,or Camels 'R' Us

Very good post and all

Very good post and all absolutley correct.

I'd like to expand on your point re democracy, or lack thereof in the UK and in particular Aberdare.

As my name suggests, I am vehemently against the destruction of peat bogs at the top of the Cwmdare mountain in the name of useless inefficent wind turbines, which just so happen to be a lucrative money maker for energy firms. I am glad to say so are the vast majority of cynon valley residents.

Yet they still went ahead.

The whole of Abernant opposed to "development" of land adjacent to Richmond terrace.

It still went ahead.

Wherever a planning application for land gets put in, it invariably by hook or by crook gets the nod.

It may be just me but the dare valley country park is busier than ever, which I honestly believe is due to the ever shrinking amount of green wooded areas in Aberdare.

Also, is anyone else here

Also, is anyone else here privvy to what happened when a lady who lives in Aberdare approached Ann Clwyd after her disabled son was assaulted in town one Saturday night?

Let's just say Clwyd's response was far from sympathetic, in fact as I recall it was more like sneering contempt which sparked a protest outside her election office opposite the market. Few years back now.

I am a friend of hers and to

I am a friend of hers and to be honest s*** all happened to speak of.

Baroness Clwdy of iraq will

Baroness Clwdy of iraq will be shortly leaving for her retirement vacation(paid for of course) in the House of Lords (aka the stealing robbing fraud shop attached to parliment)

Put your money in the parlimentry one arm bandit, pull the arm, three cherries and whoosh off to the house of lords with cheap 3 course lunches, free flowing pinot grigio and long naps in the afternoon in warm heated discussions rooms.Fours star central London sleeping quarters, all the polish waitresses you can abuse, 5 course dinners and bottles of £95.00 claret washed down with a session in a top soho strip joint

You can smell those rich farts from here and hear the snoring of over paid, over pamapered wasters

Nice one, russell, though

Nice one, russell, though I'm somewhat disappointed to see you've used such restraint in your very apt description of our MP and the rest of her political gang.

A shyster is a slang word

A shyster is a slang word for someone who acts in a disreputable, unethical, or unscrupulous way, especially in the practice of law, politics or business.

Quite a few of them in our

Quite a few of them in our little neck of the woods then, eh? I think I recognise that definition only too well from where I'm sitting: Claiming or otherwise obtaining money under dubious circumstances or false pretences. You don't need much of an imagination to work out who that may apply to round here.

Shyster may be derived from the German, Scheisser, or one who defecates. They've certainly been doing that on us over the years that's for sure!

Yes i feel as if Mr Clwyd

Yes i feel as if Mr Clwyd has been stealing the brown stuff off us for years. Her nest must be gold plated by now , 18 carat stuff lined with virgin silk and dodo feathers.
