Can anyone direct me to a site/person who could give me more info on local mountain fighters (bare knuckle) who fought in the Tonmawr area around 1920.

Dr Dafydd Trystan Davies was born in 1974 in Aberdare.

He attended Aberdare Welsh School, Penderyn Primary School and Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelen.

Aberdare Bowling Club

The Club has a membership of about 25 full members plus social members.

Members play in Club, County and National matches and competitions.

New members are welcome. Membership can be obtained by submitting an application form (available from the Club) or attending one of the periodic Open Days when potential bowlers can try their hand. The Club has members who will provide practical help and advice as required
